Hoonam in Farsi means good name and Hirbodan means the Guards of fire. Hirbodan is one of pastors of the Mazdism religious. In Avesta it stands for the teacher or professor and in pahlavi language it is Hirbot and in farsi it is Hirbodan. In Pahlavi language it also studs for the leader of the religious. It is known that the education had been done by the leader of the religious and Hirbodan who were in class of religious had been responsible for the education the lowest steps of religious were called Meghan. And one upper grade. There were Hirbodan and the highest step were Moubedan Among them there were some people that were assigned to sing the religious song and prays that they were called zoot. And there were other group of people that They were assigned to keep the fire lighting and were called Ruspy. Kharazmi Quote from tabari that “the king Khosrow parviz constructed many fireplaces and assigned more then 12000 of Hirbodan for the fireplaces”. The Head of Hirbods group was called Hirbodan and they were in first class after Moubadan.
